Have you ever searched for the term “green coffee trader” online? If you did, you probably found the results to be a little sobering. Compared to a Google search for green coffee traders three or four years ago, things are looking a lot better today: at least there are a few hits. If you are looking for a (new) green coffee trader, see if one or more of these options will lead you to success:

Trade fairs, events and coffee festivals

Events and trade fairs are an ideal place to meet green coffee traders. Most of them have a stand there, so you can take part in cuppings or just say “hello”. A hall plan or list of exhibitors can be helpful. This way, you can search and find what you are looking for, and find out in advance whether it is worth visiting.
